How much calories in one egg?


  Egg is the first choice if you want to have a quick breakfast. The nutrition in one egg can hold your energy up until mid day. But, have you ever thought, how much calories inside one egg? Actually, it depends on how big the egg is. The bigger egg has a bigger calories too. Based on United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Composition Databases (USDA), one big raw egg contains 72 calories. And the smaller egg contains 54 calories. Actually, there’s another element that could affect the calorie in an egg that’s by cooking it. According to USDA, one poach egg contains 72 calories, one boiled egg contains 78 calories, and a fried egg contains 90 calories. The higher calories is in a scrambled egg which is contains some milk that makes the calories even higher. The calories of one egg will increase if you cook it with fat like butter or an oil. If you added some toppings on it like sausages, cheese even a vegetables, it will increase the calories more.
